Waypoint Management offers our OEM clients over 15 years of experience importing and distributing a wide range of electro-mechanical components from Europe, China and the Pacific Rim. Our USA based operation focuses primarily on the North American OEM market. However, we have sourced and exported electro-mechanical products for many North American OEM clients who have moved their manufacturing operations to China to take advantage of the significant cost savings offered there.
Our strategic partnership with a fan manufacturer located in the Shenzhen area of southern mainland China provides us with the ability to take full advantage of the Chinese technical expertise while leveraging the low manufacturing costs to provide our OEM customers with a wide range of AC and DC fans at very competitive prices. Our lead times are typically as short as 4 to 6 weeks. We also offer custom design capability for unit volumes starting as low as 10,000 pieces.
In 2009, Waypoint completed a manufacturing licensing agreement with the Delphi Corporation and added the Enclosure Cooling Blower to our product line. The Enclosure Cooling Blowers are designed to help lower temperatures in high performance computer server enclosures, telecommunications switching cabinets and other electronic devices. This product line includes the enclosure cooling blower, available in three voltages, and the associated dual power relays and air filtration accessories.
Most recently, Waypoint successfully negotiated a marketing, sales and distribution agreement with a Chinese based manufacturer of brazed plate and gasket heat exchangers. These high quality products feature a patented “Dualaced” counter current flow design that provides maximum heat transfer with minimum size.
